Project Name: Kyzylorda District Heating Project – Project Implementation Support, Design Engineering Services and Contract Supervision

Provided services description:
The overall budget of this project is 35,8 million USD. Investments are provided for the following components:
› Supplying and installation of SCADA system;
› Individual Heat Substation (IHS). Integration of IHS with restoration of hot water supply systems;
› Reconstruction of heating networks (2.56 km; 1.544 km; 7.85 km);
› Acquisition of a new gas turbine engine, repair 2 GTD pcs. Gas turbine supply and related services;
› Services for the development of hydraulic models. Development of a hydraulic model of the heat supply system of Kyzylorda;
›Purchase of pipelines, reconstruction of heating networks.
Services include:
› Review of the Project Procurement Plan, including updating of initial cost estimates and setting priorities between the Project components;
› Review of existing designs and/or preparation of missing designs for the heat production facilities and the heat transmission/distribution networks rehabilitation, preparation of reference/preliminary design for Supply and Installation of turbo generators and equipment;
› Assistance to the Company in developing tender documents (including, but not limited to, design, requirements and technical specifications, EHSS requirements for contractors), carrying out tender procedure, preparing evaluation report and contract;
› Overall project management support to the Company to coordinate, manage, monitor and evaluate all aspects of the Project;
› Ensuring that appropriate control and record systems are in place to compliance with financiers and the country reporting requirements;
› Support in supervision of works and administration of contracts;
› Support in arrangement of timely disbursements under the contracts.
