Objective:
The Project will enable the Company to enhance operational efficiency, reduce losses, and improve environmental standards by financing priority investments for the rehabilitation of its infrastructure through a PIP comprising the following components: installation of hydraulic modelling, GIS, and SCADA systems; procurement of bulk water flow meters, water pressure control equipment, and borehole pumps; construction of water purification facility; rehabilitation of sewer; modernization of WWPS; construction of main interception of WWPS; etc.
Main activities:
› Review of the Project Procurement Plan, including updating of initial cost estimates and setting priorities between the Project components;
› Review of existing designs and/or preparation of missing designs for network rehabilitation, preparation of reference/preliminary design for Supply and Installation of plant and equipment;
› Assistance to the Company in developing tender documents (including design, requirements and technical specifications, EHSS requirements for contractors), carrying out tender procedure, preparing evaluation report and contracts;
› Overall Project management support;
› Ensuring that appropriate control and record systems are in place to compliance with reporting requirements;
› Support in supervision of works and administration of contracts;
› Support in arrangement of timely disbursements under the contracts, timely reporting, etc.
