Objective:
The Project was a financial, technical and environmental due diligence project following the EBRD standard Terms of Reference for such projects. The PIP estimated cost amounts to about EUR 15.24 million to be co-financed from the EBRD loan of EUR 10.3 million and the Company’s own funds of EUR 4.94 million.
Main activities:
› Review of existing situation with regards to water supply and sanitation services.
› Identification and costing of the long list of investment needs.
› Prioritisation of projects from the long list on the basis of most urgent investment interventions, benefits to population, cost savings, reduction of water losses.
› Development of Priority Investment Programme (PIP).
› Cost assessment of Priority Investment Programme.
› Assessment of financial feasibility of PIP.
› Preparation of Procurement and Implementation Plans.
› Preparation of “Environmental Due Diligence” assessment report.
› Preparation of “Social Due Diligence” assessment report.
