Provided services description:
Objective: The overall Project objective is to improve service, efficiency and environmental compliance of the municipal solid waste management system in Almaty.
Services include:
› Selection of waste management system development program;
› Proposal on technical solution for waste treatment;
› Preparation of detailed investment plans on the basis of waste measurement and characterization and recommendation of the most cost-effective mechanical and biological treatment technology;
› Financial projections for selected waste treatment facility;
› Advice on the most suitable commercially available technologies for efficient and environmentally and socially acceptable integrated waste management plant and to advise regarding the capabilities of the most prominent CIS and other manufacturers of equipment that can be used for the Facilities;
› Preparation of ESIA for selected waste treatment facility;
› Preparation of a Stakeholder Engagement Plan (“SEP”) commensurate with Category A projects.
