Provided services description:
Objective: to improve the quality and reliability of water supply and sanitation services in the cities of Russia, to improve the environment and minimize environmental damage:
- prevent environmental pollution as a result of the discharge of untreated wastewater, disposal of wastewater sludge;
- municipal water supply and sewerage systems modernization and development problems comprehensive solution, including water treatment, sewerage and wastewater treatment;
- creation or development of a stormwater collection and treatment system;
- water supply and sewerage enterprises sustainability and resource efficiency improvement;
- development of advisory opinion for the application of the best-practice experience gained during Project Implementation for other cities of Russia.
The Project comprises implementation of the next components:

City of Ivanovo:
1) Reconstruction of the WTPS-1 water treatment system in Avdotino;
2) Construction of a water conduit from the Khudynskaya dam to WTPS-1 in Avdotino .
3) Reconstruction of sewage conduits D = 3000 mm, D = 1420 mm, D = 1020 mm, D = 1000 mm in Ivanovo by the method of rehabilitation.

In the city of Volzhskiy
1) Construction of facilities for cleaning storm water and melt water from sewage conduit No. 8 in Volzhsky, Volgograd region;
2) Reconstruction of sewage conduit No.9 D1000 mm from WWPS-5 to WWPS-9;
3) Engineering networks of microdistrict 32a. Reconstruction of sewage pumping station No. 15;
4) Construction of water supply and sewerage networks (development of microdistrict 1 "Mirage" of the Krasnooktyabrsky settlement): Stage I ;
5) Drinking water pipeline from the pumping station of the III rise to the pumping station of the IV rise. Section from the pumping station of the III rise to the distribution chamber;
6) Tourist cluster "Victory Territory", Volzhsky: engineering infrastructure for the beach area and the Volzhsky recreation park. Water supply and sewerage external networks and facilities. Water supply and sewerage;
7) Tourist cluster "Victory Territory", Volzhsky: engineering infrastructure for the beach area and the Volzhsky recreation park. Water supply and sewerage external networks facilities. Irrigation water supply and pumping station.
8) Drainage system of the bridge complex repair as part of the Volzhskaya HPP. Installation of technological equipment for storm and melt water treatment.

Dzerzhinsk city:
1) Construction of the second line of the Teplovsky water intake;
2) Construction of a water conduit to the village of Pyra;
3) Reconstruction of water supply networks in Dzerzhinsk;
4) Construction of the main sewer;
5) Reconstruction of the district treatment facilities in Dzerzhinsk.

The total volume of capital investments of the PIP is estimated at:
› Ivanovo city - USD 84.692 million.
› Volzhsky city - USD 23.922 million.
› Dzerzhinsk city - USD 47.706 million.
Main activities:
› Contracts implementation control in accordance with the rules and procedures of the NBR (the form of IBRD contracts);
› Construction Supervision;
› Monthly Reporting to higher institutions in accordance with the requirements of the contract;
› Ecological and Social support.
